Going to University is a big step for not only your son or daughter, but also for you as your child takes their first steps into independent living.

In this section we hope to reassure you that in choosing one of our houses, your son or daughter will be living in a safe and secure environment to allow them to enjoy their university life to the full.

Indeed, based on our excellent service and track record, many parents have made contact with Unipads (sometimes years later) for assistance with their other children who also decide to study at University. We are here to help.

The Landlords

We are experienced, professional and accredited landlords. All our properties comply with the HMO regulations. In addition, we are active members of the National Landlords Association and the Midlands Landlords Association. All tenants deposits are protected under a recognised Government Protection Scheme.

Secure Living

Our students’ welfare is extremely important to us. We have a dedicated maintenance team which offer a first class, responsive service at all times.

We are available to contact during usual office hours, throughout the year, to offer assistance if required. We take student safety very seriously.

Our properties have double glazing, double locking doors and most have security alarms. We maintain an exemplary standard of security, ensuring the safest possible environment for our student residents.

Our properties offer modern high quality accommodation situated within a few minutes walk from the University of Birmingham, and within close proximity to Birmingham City and Aston Universities.

With a choice of houses ranging in size from three to eight bedrooms, our accommodation provides all the necessary touches to help our residents feel at at home. All our accommodation is comfortably furnished with lounges and common areas to allow for relaxation.

Not only are the houses furnished to a high standard, we provide a contemporary kitchen fully equipped with all the essentials for student living.

Affordable Quality

Comfortable bedrooms provide an ideal environment for our residents to pursue their studies. Standard furniture consists of drawers, a fitted wardrobe, study desk, bookshelves and plenty of electrical sockets. All our houses are of high quality, and offer competitively priced accommodation. You can be assured that choosing us will be excellent value for money.

Guarantors

We require all students to nominate a UK Based 'Guarantor' which is typically a parent or guardian. This 'Guarantor' guarantees the performance of the obligations of the tenant under the Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement. We will personally write to the nominated Guarantor and provide the necessary documentation which we require you to complete. In the event a UK Based Guarantor cannot be provided, the rent for the year will need to be paid upfront, alternatively the tenant can use a Guarantor provider such as Housing Hand.
